Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actress and producer. She is among the highest-paid actresses, and was awarded numerous accolades for her performances. Nush is her clothing brand specifically for women. In addition, she serves as an ambassador for Nush and also owns numerous other brands. Forbes Magazine has featured her in their magazine as well. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1 1988 in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Her father is an officer in the colonel (retd.) and her mother is a housewife. Anushka's elder brother Karnesh Sharma served in Merchant Navy and now is an actor. Anushka graduated from Army School in Bangalore, followed by the Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) at Mount Carmel College. Anushka Sharma has a master's education in Economics. Anushka was not interested in becoming an actor, but a reporter or model. Anushka Sharma relocated to Mumbai in order to enroll at Elite Model Management and be prepared under the supervision of style consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka's debut as a fashion model was in 2017 after she modelled in the shoes of Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week after which she was chosen by Rodricks to be a model in his Spring Summer 2007 collection. Anushka Sharma has been a part in a variety of brand-related campaigns after her Lakme Fashion Week debut. These include campaigns for Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma alongside her modelling profession, enrolled in an acting academy and began giving auditions for films. Anushka sharma began her film career in 2008, with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan. In her screen test she refused to perform the test in a hurry and instead spent a day to prepare herself. She was later signed to three movies by Yash Raj Films. The film in which she appeared was portrayed as a young lady who got married to a middle-aged man (the character Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka appeared along with Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The movie received mixed praises. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the movie "Band Baaja Baraat. She portrayed a Punjabi woman in the middle class who owns her own wedding business. This movie was well received and was a huge success. Anushka was able to complete the three film contract in partnership with Yash Raj Films.
